Certification Class

All new applicants for retailer, developer, and installer license must complete the certification class given by the Louisiana Manufactured Housing Commission. These classes are held once a month. The installer certification class is held at the State Fire Marshal's District office at 2230 S. MacArthur Suite 6, Alexandria, LA. 71301. The retailer's class is held at the State Fire Marshal's Office at 8181 Independence Blvd., in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Driving Directions) or other specified locations. Please call to verify.

Registrations forms should be mailed to LMHC Office @ 8181 Independence Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA, 70806 WITH THE CLASS FEE prior to attending the class. A confirmation of your seat will be emailed back to you.

Note: Refresher classes must be attended to renew a license at the end of the calendar year. Those classes are hosted by the Louisiana Manufactured Housing Association.
